Structure

The highest decision-making body in the LCS is the Executive Council. It is headed by the Bishop.

The Executive Council carries out the work of the church through the following standing committees

• Missions

• Education

• Stewardship

• Social Concern & Evangelism

• Finance and Development

The Ministerium, consisting of the ordained pastors of the Church, attends to matters of doctrine, nurture and spiritual care.

Local church councils, which report to the Executive Council, run the various congregations of the LCS.
